India - Accessible School Equipment
For the children at St. Mary’s School, simple everyday tasks can be difficult without the proper equipment. Lightweight, foldable walkers and additional wheelchairs would give students with disabilities greater freedom to move safely and comfortably—especially during hostel breaks, when they need to get to their rooms and attend to personal needs.
St. Mary’s has also recently provided new dining tables and chairs so the children can enjoy their meals with greater comfort and dignity. Now, we hope to purchase a stainless steel plate stand to keep their dining area clean, organized, and welcoming.
