Alfredo Chenche, Francisca Rosado Sanchez and Family

This family is very impoverished, and their poor health creates many expenses for the family. Francisca receives medical treatment that must be constantly paid for. Their oldest child, Gabriel, is 80% handicapped. He has a muscle and brain paralysis. The family does receive a monthly stipend for the government to care for Gabriel's medical needs and transportation. The rest of the children are in school, though the 2nd oldest, Alex does work some after school to receive between $20-$50 per week. Alfredo works in construction and gets paid by the job. They own their house, which is made out of cement; however, there are parts of the house that are incomplete. Their living condition is poor. Because they have no water in the house they have to buy their own water. Also, Francisca must pay $50 per month to pay off a development-housing loan.
